This beautifully captures the essence of what working with alchemy was like in the medieval times, when it was slandered and branded as black magick. The alchemists were forced to hide away somewhere secret to work, using simple bottles to store substances and having no light to work by except by those few cracks in the walls which let in the light of the sun or beside the fire which distilled or sublimated liquids.
This picture captures the essence of all of this. Very well done!
the bright lighting gives it a sort of authentic antique picture, especially with this particular costume style (only it is in color)... I love the whole set up with the props also, but i would of turned the book to a page with less distinctive images. anyways, very fun image! She looks very concentrated.
