This photo reminds me of The Black Dahlia, Elizabeth Short. You know the infamous 1947 murder in Los Angeles, California. This is her a few years before she was murdered.

Maybe it's just me but I see a strong resemblence. Maybe it's the black hair, shape of her face, and red lips. I don't know.

Okay, how about the Dutchess of Windsor, then (Wallis Simpson)? the jet black hair, the red lips? ha ha. Is that a little better? Sorry about before: to me, Elizabeth short was a murder victim but it's not something she did, it's something that happened to her. In my mind that doesn't stop her from having been a beautiful young, innocent girl. But again, sorry for the comparison. No hard feelings?

I just think that victimity is rather a human trait than just fate...
Anyway I feel big connection with my works, they are kind of my reflection) So there's maybe some superstition about traits which are found in them and could affect me somehow. Uneasy artist's way, eh...
No problem, really, just made me think of it

And the Duchess is way more attractive

Ha ha ha! I like the Dutchess, too. I especially love the love story involving her and King Edward the 8th. I love her clothes & style. I don't know. And yes, I can totally understand the "superstition" you mentioned. That's important. I'm very superstitious, too, actually. You are right. Don't worry about being "uneasy"; if you weren't uneasy I don't think you'd be as effective as an artist. Ha ha. We are all uneasy, poor and crazy (every heard the term "starving artists")somewhere? Ha ha ha. Goodnight. Sweet dreams....
